“I… I have conflicts with him during the Selection!” Murong Qi replied softly.
“Apologize to him. Do it now!” Elder Murong reprimanded Murong Qi and demanded that she apologize to Su Mo.
Murong Qi’s face turned pale. She knew that her grandfather was doing it for her own good. He wanted her to put down her pride and apologize to Su Mo so that she could get a token.
Although she knew her grandfather’s intention, she did not wish to apologize to Su Mo.
Murong Qi was a candid woman. She was strong-headed and had a fiery temper.
Thus, she refused to humble herself for the sake of a token. When they had been in the Star Beast’s body, Su Mo had not only provoked her but he had killed her Junior Brother.
“Qi’er, did you hear what I said?” Elder Murong Qi said, his face dark. He knew that it was a great opportunity and Murong Qi could not miss it.
If she were to miss it, she would have to wait for the next Selection and might not succeed. Ba Shiyu was a gifted genius but he had failed several times. He had wasted a few hundred years of his precious time. Many people were dumbfounded as they looked at Elder Murong. He was shameless. He had lowered his pride for the sake of the token.
The disciples from Skynet Branch had been killed by Su Mo and, as one of the Chief Elders in Skynet Branch, Elder Murong was asking his granddaughter to apologize to Su Mo instead of settling the score with him!
The elders and disciples of Skynet Branch were unhappy, but they understood why Elder Murong had done so.
“Hmm… sorry!” Murong Qi had no choice but to bow and apologize to Su Mo. She did not want to defy her grandfather and she desired to get hold of the token.
Su Mo looked impassively at Murong Qi. In fact, he felt that Murong Qi did not have to apologize to him. Both of them were not at fault as they were fighting for themselves.
“Hoho! My friend, Qi’er has apologized to you!”
Elder Murong said as he turned around to look at Su Mo. His expression changed im and he smiled warmly and said, “My granddaughter has been stubborn since she was young and she has never apologized to anyone. Please forgive her and give her a token.”
Su Mo was speechless. He had no desire to give Murong Qi a token but he could not turn Elder Murong down.
As the saying went, never hit someone who has apologized to you! “Elder Murong, are you agreeable if I sell the token to you?” Su Mo asked after he had pondered for a while. He wanted Elder Murong to pay a price for the token. “Sure! I agree!”
Elder Murong was taken aback at first but soon, he was overjoyed and broke out into a broad smile.
Murong Qi lifted her head and looked at Su Mo in astonishment. She had not expected Su Mo to be magnanimous and not make things difficult for her.
Although he was selling the token to them, they were grateful to him.
“My friend, what is the price or what treasure you wish to have?” Elder Murong asked.
“You can give any amount based on your perceived value of the token,” Su Mo replied. He did not want to blackmail Elder Murong. As long as Elder Murong gave him a reasonable price, he would gladly accept it.
Su Mo had no lack of resources and he did not need anything
“I don’t think you will need any of the ordinary resources. What would you think if I refined a set of Artifacts for you?” Elder Murong said.
“Artifacts? What kind of Artifacts?” Su Mo asked curiously.
“A set of Superior Artifacts that you will be pleased with!” Elder Murong replied with a smile.
“Alright!” Su Mo nodded. He did not ask further as he believed that the Superior Artifacts should be valuable.
Su Mo took out a token and tossed it toward Murong Qi.
“Thank… thank you!” Murong Qi thanked Su Mo softly and caught hold of the token.
Su Mo stopped talking to the two of them and looked around. He found Ge Li from Qinghua Branch.
“Ge Li, this token is for you!” Su Mo called out to Ge Li as he took out another token.
Ge Li was standing far away with the men from Qinghua Branch. When he heard what Su Mo had said, he was shocked. He could not believe his ears!
Would he be given a token?
The men from Qinghua Branch had different expressions on their faces and they looked at Ge Li with envy.
The Chief Elder of Qinghua Branch, Reverend Tian Jue, looked extremely unhappy.
“Why are you not coming over? Do you want to have the token?” Su Mo smiled as he asked. He had decided to give Ge Li a token as he felt that Ge Li was a nice person.
Before Ge Li left Red Summer Star back then, he had informed Su Mo through voice transmission that Ye Jin wanted to kill him.
Thus, Su Mo had decided to give Ge Li a token.

Ge Li was happy to accept the offer. He flew toward Su Mo in a flash and took the token from him.
“I am surprised that you are giving it to me!” Ge Li had a complex look on his face. Back then, he had been instructed by Reverend Tian Jue to kill Su Mo but he had failed his mission.
“You deserve it!” Su Mo smiled. After he had given the token to Ge Li, he flew toward Reverend Jin Wu and Priest Tian Hua. He had given away six tokens and he was left with 14.
After he had taken one token for himself, he would leave the remaining tokens for the disciples of Palmy Branch.
However, the minute Su Mo landed, a big group of people crowded around him.
“My friend, I am willing to purchase a token from you and I will make sure that you are happy with the price!”
“Friend, I am willing to purchase a token from you. Just name the price!”
“I will give you a Kismet Artifact in exchange for a token!”
The group of elders started to offer Su Mo various things in exchange for a token. Some of them even offered Kismet Artifacts and precious weapons. Those people did not know Su Mo and it would have been inappropriate for them to ask Su Mo for the tokens. Thus, they had offered to purchase the tokens from him or exchange their precious treasures for the tokens.
Basically, all the elders had Pro-Disciples and they were asking on their behalf.
“That… Wu Shan, can you give Piaoying a token?”
Lin Wanru came with Ning Piaoying, who had an apologetic look on her face, and said, “Piaoying is reckless. If she has offended you, please forgive her.”
Ning Piaoying dared not look at Su Mo as she felt ashamed of herself for underestimating Su Mo earlier.
“Sure!” Su Mo nodded. He was indebted to Lin Wanru and he would definitely give her a token regardless of what Ning Piaoying had done.
He took a token and handed it over to Ning Piaoying.
“Thank you!” Lin Wanru heaved a sigh of relief and she was glad that she had helped Su Mo previously. That had brought Good fortune for her daughter.
“Hmm… Brother Wu Shan, can you give Senior Brother Ba a token?” Ning Piaoying asked after she had taken the token. She wanted to get a token for Ba Shiyu as well.
Ba Shiyu was standing beside Ning Piaoying with an elder.
“My friend, I am willing to give you a Kismet Artifact if you let Ba Shiyu have a token.” The elder, who was Ba Shiyu’s Teacher, said. He was willing to pay a high price for Ba Shiyu.
He had only one Kismet Artifact which he was using, but he did not hesitate to take it out for Ba Shiyu.
Ba Shiyu had failed several times and that was his last opportunity. If he did not succeed, he would have to wait for the next Selection.
Although Ba Shiyu looked calm, he was feeling apprehensive.
However, he believed that Su Mo could not refuse a Kismet Artifact and he would agree to the deal.
Sad to say, he was disappointed with the outcome.
“I’m sorry. The rest of the tokens are not enough for the disciples of Palmy Branch!” Su Mo turned down the offer. Although he was tempted by the Kismet Artifact, he believed that he would have no problem getting hold of one given his status and strength.
Having said that, Su Mo looked at the people and said, “Gentlemen, I will not be selling any of the tokens. I am leaving them for the disciples of Palmy Branch.” When the people heard what Su Mo had said, they looked depressed. They had lost their hopes of getting the tokens.
Since Su Mo had the tokens, he had the freedom to decide on the distribution.
Ba Shiyu was saddened. He had failed. Even Ning Piaoying had obtained a token, but not him.
Ning Piaoying frowned and did not say a word. She knew that she had managed to get hold of a token because of her mother. However, Ba Shiyu did not have the luck.
When the disciples of Palmy Branch heard what Su Mo had said, they were excited. There were 13 tokens left and many of them stood a chance.
“Teacher, I shall leave these tokens with you. Please decide who to give them to!”
Su Mo took out the 13 tokens and handed them over to Reverend Jin Wu. He had decided to let Reverend Jin Wu allocate the tokens.
