He would not force Ling Chang because he knew that since Su Mo had obtained the Ultimate Sword Art and stolen the Ultimate Holy Sword, he would not reveal his whereabouts. Ling Chang probably would not have lied.

“Yes!” Zi Xiao nodded. He understood the Palace Master’s worried expression. Ling Chang did not fully belong to Ultimate Supreme Being Palace.
“Track her in secret. She might have a special relationship with Su Mo. If anything is wrong, immediately capture her. If she meets with Su Mo, bring both of them back!” Ultimate Supreme Being instructed. By that point, he had lost his faith in Ling Chang.
“Rest assured Palace Master!” Zi Xiao nodded before he stood up.
“Also, don’t let her find you!” The Palace Master added. If Ling Chang had not betrayed Ultimate Supreme Being Palace, this method would be cold and hence they had to be careful.
