“Senior Brother Wan, I don’t think you are the one who decides whether I can take part in the fight!”
“How dare you!”
When Senior Brother Wan heard what Su Mo had said, his face turned cold. Other than the Sect Master, no one dared to question what he said.
“You are just an amateur martial artist. How dare you be so presumptuous and question what I have said?” Senior Brother Wan said and cold light flickered in his eyes.
When the disciples saw Senior Brother Wan’s response, they were alarmed. Senior Brother Wan was enraged. Su Mo was too audacious.
“Senior Brother Wan, Su Mo has just joined the sect and he doesn’t know the rules. Please forgive him!”
Xu Ming stepped forth and spoke up for Su Mo. He then signaled at Su Mo for him to stop talking.
Su Mo did not know how terrifying Senior Brother Wan could be but Xu Ming knew. If Su Mo offended Senior Brother Wan, he could forget about staying at Wind-thunder Sect.
Xu Ming felt that Su Mo had a pleasant personality, so he had stepped out to help him get out of the predicament.
“Xu Ming, you should teach him how to behave himself!” Senior Brother Wan said coldly. Since Xu Ming had spoken up for Su Mo, Senior Brother Wan believed that they must be close to each other.
“Yes, Senior Brother Wan!” Xu Ming replied respectfully. He then heaved a sigh of relief.
Su Mo looked indifferent although he saw that the disciples seemed to hold Senior Brother Wan in high esteem.
As Su Mo was about to speak up, Elder Jiang spoke before him.
“Alright. It’s getting late. Let’s set off!”
Elder Jiang waved his hand. He shot up to the sky and flew far away hastily. When the disciples saw it, they followed him.
“Presumptuous fellow!” Senior Brother Wan glanced at Su Mo and sniggered at him. He then flew up to the sky and went off.
Su Mo was not concerned about Senior Brother Wan. To him, Senior Brother Wan was a nobody.
He was depressed that Elder Jiang would not allow him to participate in the fight. He only hoped that the disciples of Wind-thunder Sect would perform well.
“Brother Su, let’s go!” Xu Ming sighed and said. He did not reprimand Su Mo as he knew that Su Mo was unaware of Senior Brother Wan’s power.
“Alright!” Su Mo nodded.
The two of them then left the mountain peak and followed the rest of the disciples.
“Brother Xu, who are the four candidates from our sect participating in the fight?” Su Mo asked Xu Ming as they were flying.
“They are Junior Brother Huo Yun, Senior Brother Wang Li, Senior Sister Lin Man, and Senior Brother Wan Shengxiang!” Xu Ming replied.
Su Mo nodded when he heard it. Senior Sister Lin was an End Realm Martial Sage and Senior Brother Wan was a Martial Sage at the Great Completion Realm. Their auras were much stronger than the martial artists’ who were at the same rank as them.
Naturally, the two of them were selected to participate in the fight.
As for Junior Brother Huo and Senior Brother Wang, the two of them looked powerful. They were outstanding among the martial artists at their respective ranks.
The disciples from Wind-thunder Sect traveled all the way and after an hour, they reached Dark Shadow Tribe.
Dark Shadow Tribe was a big tribe. It was located on a plain with a long stretch of buildings on it.
Towering city walls surrounded the tribe and it looked like a magnificent ancient city.

The disciples flew down and landed in front of the gate of the tribe.
“Elder Jiang, the men from Eight-eyes Tribe are already here. We are waiting for you!”
More than 10 guards were standing at the gate. When one of them, who was the leader, saw Elder Jiang, he cupped his fist at him and told him.
The men from Dark Shadow Tribe were special. They looked transparent, and if one did not look carefully, they would not notice them.
This is interesting! Su Mo was amazed. In the universe, there were thousands of strange and mysterious tribes around.
Dark Shadow Tribe was highly ranked on the Ten Thousand Archean Tribe Board. They were ranked number 16, which was much higher than Sun Moon Tribe and the Sorcerer Tribe.

Although Dark Shadow Tribe had gone downhill, the individual strength of the tribe members might not have gone down.

That was the reason Dark Shadow Tribe had won most of the fights over the past few years.
One of the martial artists from Dark Shadow Tribe then brought Elder Jiang and the disciples into the tribe.
They came into an impressive and ancient stone hall.
An Illusory Space, that had been set up by an array, was situated at the center of the stone hall and the area was vast.
There were only around 60 people in the Illusory Space and all of them were Martial Sages.
Those people stood in the air and they were separated into two camps.
One of the camps belonged to Dark Shadow Tribe and the other camp belonged to the Eight-eyes Tribe.
Although the people from the Eight-eyes Tribe took on human form, they looked ugly. There were eight eyes on their foreheads and they looked horrifying.
“Elder Jiang!”
Two elders came out from among the members from Dark Shadow Tribe and Eight-eyes Tribe and greeted Elder Jiang when they saw that the men from Wind-thunder Tribe had arrived.
“Hoho! Elder An Lin, Elder Tong Yu!” Elder Jiang Jiang smiled and greeted the two elders.
The two of them were King Sages from Dark Shadow Tribe and Eight-eyes Tribe. They were respectable and they had been in charge of selecting the candidates from their tribe for the fight.
“Since everyone has arrived, let’s proceed and not waste time!”
Elder An Lin from Dark Shadow Tribe said. He was of a big build and an obscure halo exuded from his body.
“Sure!” Elder Jiang nodded and signaled the disciples from Wind-thunder Sect to move forward.
Very quickly, the men from the three big forces, Wind-thunder Sect, Dark Shadow Tribe, and Eight-eyes Tribe, stood in three different locations around the space, which took up 161 kilometers of the area.
“Ladies and gentlemen, according to the rules that have been set, Wind-thunder Sect and Eight-eyes Tribe will compete first. After that, you will take on the geniuses from our tribe!” Elder An Lin said as he looked at the crowd.
When the people heard what Elder An Lin had said, they nodded. Dark Shadow Tribe had won the fights for the past few years, so they had set the rules in recent years that after Eight-eyes Tribe and Wind-thunder Sect had fought, the winning team would take on the geniuses from Dark Shadow Tribe.
“They are indeed not weak!” Su Mo commented as he looked at the geniuses from Dark Shadow Tribe and Eight-eyes Tribe. He found them to be powerful.
The geniuses from Dark Shadow Tribe had strong auras which surpassed those of the same ranked martial artists from the human tribe.
“Brother Su. They are not only not weak! For the same-rank fight, other than the geniuses from Sky Tyrant Clan, only a few people can take on the geniuses from Dark Shadow Tribe!”
Xu Ming sighed and said when he heard Su Mo muttering to himself. He did not see any hope for Wind-thunder Sect to win the fight!
Although the participants from Wind-thunder Sect were powerful, especially Senior Brother Wan, the men from Dark Shadow Tribe were even more powerful than them.
One of the participants from Dark Shadow Tribe was a King Sage who was ranked number 18 on the Dark Region King Sage Board. His ranking was higher than Senior Brother Wan, who was ranked number 30.
