When both of them got in the car, Lu Jingye received Mrs. Lu’s phone call and he said, “Luo Ran was the culprit. Mom, you don’t have to go. Yiyi and I will be heading there right away.”
Mrs. Lu said something on the other end of the line and Lu Jingye only replied with an affirmative before he ended the phone call.
Following that, he said to Zi Yi, “Father and Mother are already on their way there.”
“Who was the one who called them?”
“Luo Qian.”
Zi Yi thought for a moment and turned on the virtual screen as she quickly swiped around.
Subsequently, she asked Lu Jingye, “What are the other clones doing?”
Lu Jingye had been wearing an earpiece ever since he got in the car so that he could constantly receive reports from his men.
He said, “They aren’t doing anything.”
Zi Yi’s finger continued to swipe on the virtual screen. Sometime later, she entered the network of the villa where the Luo Family was staying and connected to all the surveillance cameras inside.
There wasn’t much surveillance inside the villa and not every room had a camera. As a result, she ended up connecting to Luo Qian’s phone.
The phone was currently in Luo Qian’s pocket and they could only hear voices.
Just then, Luo Qian’s anxious voice could be heard. “Mom, hold on awhile. Uncle Lu and Auntie Lu will be arriving shortly.”
Luo Qingning was even more concerned for Luo Ran than for her own well-being. Her tone of voice contained traces of the pain she was feeling. “I can still endure. You should take care of Ranran first. She must have been scared when she saw me falling.”
Luo Qian was silent for a moment before she asked, “Mom, how did you fall down?”

Luo Ran’s voice sounded timid and carried a hint of crying. “Mommy, Grandma fell down the stairs and died. Ranran is scared.”
Just then, Luo Qian picked up Luo Ran who was obviously shaken up, and said, “Who told you Grandma is dead? Grandma just fell and injured herself. Don’t be afraid. When Grandpa Lu and the rest arrive, there will be a doctor here to treat Grandma’s injuries. Go to bed first. After you wake up, Grandma will have recovered.”
“But Grandma won’t be getting better!”
“Ranran!”
Luo Qian was obviously angry and she softly shouted, “Grandma only fell down and she’s doing fine.”
“No, she won’t be fine! Someone wants to harm Grandma!”
Luo Qian’s voice tightened instantly. “Ranran, who told you that someone wanted to harm Grandma?”

Following that, Luo Qian started walking briskly, and sometime later, she said, “Ranran, tell Mom. Which Uncle said that?”
“The guy who stood next to the handsome Uncle! He said that Ranran is naughty and wanted to teach Ranran a lesson!”
“Ranran, you must have heard wrongly!”
Luo Qian’s voice tightened and her tone carried a hint of displeasure. “Don’t talk nonsense. Why would the bodyguard next to Uncle Lu say that?”
“He did say that. He did… Wuuu…”
Luo Ran’s cries contained a penetrating force. When the sound came through the speaker, Zi Yi, and Lu Jingye furrowed their eyebrows at the same time.
Zi Yi turned around to look at Lu Jingye. “It seems like this clone is planning to cause a rift between us.”

Luo Qian nodded her head and was about to carry Luo Ran outside.
Luo Ran started struggling inside Luo Qian’s embrace. “I want Grandma. I want Grandma!”
Mrs. Lu frowned and just then, Second Master Lu came to Luo Qian’s side and said, “Little Qian, pass Ranran to me.”
Luo Ran refused. “Ranran don’t want Grandpa Lu. Ranran don’t want Grandpa Lu.”
At the sight of how fiercely Luo Ran was crying, Luo Qian instantly went soft and did not try to hand her over to Second Master Lu.
Second Master Lu’s expression instantly turned stern as he said, “Ranran’s presence will obviously disturb the doctor from checking Qingning’s injuries. Don’t tell me you are unable to distinguish the severity of the situation just because you want to stop her from crying?”

Second Master Lu snorted and carried her as he stood in the living room.
Luo Ran looked as though she was extremely fearful of him and wanted to get down from his arms.
Second Master Lu looked at her with a sharp gaze and Luo Ran’s body trembled.
She clearly knew that she could not fight against Second Master Lu and so she pretended to be obedient by putting her arms around his neck. However, her fingernails started to lengthen, trying to kill him.
