Chapter 935 - The Pills Are A Success

“Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh!” The Single Slice of the Universe’s blade energy pierced through the red robe and then his body.

“Ugh!” Monk Zhi Shan vomited a mouthful of blood as he turned around to look at Chu Li. His gaze was so cold that there was not a hint of humanity in it.

The red robe flattened against his body like a deflating balloon. He glided aggressively into the sky similar to a golden eagle flying into the distance. He was so quick that he disappeared into the distance instantly.

“Pfft!” Chu Li vomited out a mouthful of blood as he released the damage accumulated in his body.

Since he only had a bit of blade energy left in his body, he did not have any strength to chase after him.

“Bam!” Zhou Jinchun fell from the roof as the ground trembled.

He did not care if he was in pain as he immediately crawled up and moved forward. “Junior Brother Zhao, what about the Detachment Pill?”

Chu Li shook his head as he walked towards the wall and pulled out the solar chakram before placing it in his embrace. He then sat on the cushion as he shook his head. “We need to change the alchemy furnace.”

“Why didn’t they come and help out?” Zhou Jinchun was unhappy.

Chu Li replied, “They’re all injured and don’t have the strength to fight at all. They would only die if they come here. In fact, it would be burdensome if they were to come! Lu Ruolan asked hastily, “Junior Brother, has Monk Zhi Shan left?”

Chu Li nodded.

His face was pale as he sat firmly on the cushion before he said calmly, “He’s injured and won’t be coming back for some time. We can perform alchemy in peace now. Senior Sister Li, please bring another alchemy furnace here. Quickly!”

“Alright, alright,” Li Ruolan responded immediately. “There are still two more alchemy furnaces in the house!”

She glided away and soon four muscular men carried the alchemy furnace into the small courtyard.

The alchemy furnace had already been cleaned so Chu Li immediately heated it up and waited until it had reached the desired temperature. He then reached out his hand to open the alchemy furnace before a medicinal fragrance started filling the air.

He lifted the old alchemy furnace with a single hand and placed it atop the new alchemy furnace before he patted the old furnace firmly.

“Sizzle.” White vapor came out as the herb’s liquid fell into the new alchemy furnace.

Ji Xin stepped forward to help out. As he used his hand to block the heat, he soon realized that the alchemy furnace was extremely heavy and Chu Li made the entire process easier than it seemed.

Chu Li threw the old alchemy furnace to the side before he continued applying fire below the new alchemy furnace. He covered the alchemy furnace as well, thus preventing the fragrance from leaving.

“Alright, you guys can be on your way now,” Chu Li said. “We’ll be able to see the Detachment Pill by tomorrow.”

“Will it succeed?” Lu Zhen’s voice was coarse.

Chu Li laughed. “Don’t worry, Senior Sister Lu. It’ll be alright!”

“Okay!” Lu Zhen nodded lightly before turning around to leave.

As the crowd dispersed, Chu Li sat alone in the courtyard as he continued to perform alchemy.

As the fire stabilized, he stood up and performed the thirty-six energy-nurturing forms.

The blade energy in his body had completely dispersed. If the Single Slice of the Universe’s blade energy was not lethal enough, it would not be able to hurt Monk Zhi Shan at all.

He was pretending to be weak when he kept using the solar chakram to block the blade energy. The Body Protection Divine Power was able to fully defend against the blade energy even if he did not use the solar chakram and lunar chakram.

However, a man’s scheme would always be inferior to those made by heaven. He was facing the almighty Single Slice of the Universe this time. He might be able to resist the Earth Matrix and Reincarnation Scripture, but he could not disperse this so he had to take it head-on.

Chu Li put his hands into his sleeves as he touched the lunar chakram and solar chakram.

The lunar chakram sent chills into his bones whereas the solar chakram was hot enough to burn him.

The two chakrams were incredibly powerful and he was incredibly envious of it. If he were able to turn both into his own weapon, he would be able to fully utilize the Earth Matrix and Reincarnation Scripture to its fullest potential. Unfortunately, he did not know how to use them as everything relied on the spiritual force coated upon the chakrams.

The source of this spiritual force was Monk Zhi Shan. It was obvious that it was a secret technique from the Reincarnation Temple and it would not be passed down to him. All he could do was to hope that he had the opportunity to obtain it in the future or the solar chakram and lunar chakram were nothing more than accessories.

He tried to channel the Earth Matrix and Reincarnation Scripture’s energy into the solar chakram. His inner energy condensed into the solar chakram, forming into an incredibly powerful force before it shot towards a flower bush not too far away from him.

The petals scattered all over the ground. Its strength was incredibly shocking.

Chu Li then triggered the lunar chakram as it started chirping. It flew out, took a turn in the middle of the sky and flew back into his hands. However, he dared not take it for the lunar chakram did not recognize him as it returned at an incredibly high rotational speed.

He finally understood the purpose of spiritual energy. Without spiritual energy, the lunar chakram would see him as an enemy. It was a double-edged sword. However, the most important thing was that it was powerful when it was thrown out.

As for the solar chakram, he was able to use it now.

He was incredibly satisfied for he was able to obtain both the chakrams, which was an incredible gain.

The small courtyard was brightly lit by the fire before the day broke.

Lu Zhen, Li Ruolan, Zhou Jinchun, and Ji Xin had arrived at the small courtyard.

Chu Li would switch between pouring away the scorching hot black stones, adding them into the furnace, or pouring water onto the alchemy furnace as he manipulated the temperature.

“How complicated!” Zhou Chunjin shook his head.

Ji Xin was shocked as well.

It was indeed a specialized work. If it were him doing this work, he would never know the exact situation inside the alchemy furnace and would certainly be in the dark about it.

“Bam!” Chu Li suddenly slapped the black stones, sending them flying towards the wall.

He then used a bucket of water to water the alchemy furnace and white vapor started emerging.

Chu Li stood within the white mist as if he was a sage. Everyone was so in awe that they had ignored his ugly face.

“Bam bam bam bam bam bam…” Chu Li kept hitting the alchemy furnace while circling it. As he walked and slapped, he brought on a rhythm subconsciously. Ultimately, he revolved around it six times before he crossed his arms against his chest.

“Is it done?” Zhou Jinchun asked impatiently.

Chu Li replied, “You can now open the furnace.”

“I’ll do it.” Zhou Jinchun reached out to open the furnace’s lid before he gently placed it aside. He then peeked in before pulling his head out. “I can’t smell anything at all.”

He was expecting the herb’s fragrance to fill his nostrils but he did not smell anything at all. Everything was clean and fresh except for the pile of soybean-like pills inside the furnace.

Chu Li slapped the alchemy furnace once more and a string of pills flew out, to which he caught with a box. The inside of the box was covered with pure white silk and the perfectly round soybean-sized pills sat gently inside it. The pills were incredibly pure.

Chu Li looked at the pills with a smile. “These are indeed the Detachment Pills!”

He took out one of the pills and popped it into his mouth before he chewed on it slowly. He then enjoyed the fragrance of the medicine as it soon turned into saliva which flowed into his stomach, turning into an essence of strength that flowed throughout his body. He felt incredibly refreshed as his blood flow seemed to have quickened and his body temperature seemed to have increased.

He separated the pills into three batches. The first batch had four pills, the second one had twenty and the last one had ten pills.

Li Ruolan handed over a jade bottle as Chu Li placed them into it. He then passed the jade bottle that contained twenty pills to Lu Zhen. “Senior Sister Lu, take one pill every morning and night. Take note to eat more birds and you should recover in approximately ten days.”

Lu Zhen hesitated for a moment before taking it.

She started losing faith out of the blue. Everyone would doubt that she would be able to fully grow out her wrist in ten days by just consuming twenty pills.

Chu Li laughed. “It’s only for ten days. Just give it a try and you’ll know the result!”

Lu Zhen bit her lips as she nodded.
