On the side of the Legacy Hall mountain peak, Li Xiandao was slowly moving upwards. At the Ten Thousand Dragon Empire, Long Mixu was starting to ascend to the throne.
She became the first Empress in the history of Ancient Desolate Land.
This first-time occurence brought with it a lot of discussion and debate.
The Confucians cursed her so badly like she had dug out the graves of their ancestors.
Even when the Head of Scholars stood out and openly supported Long Mixu, he was only able to slightly suppress them. There were even many who scolded Sage Zhang for doing that.
Long Mixu didn’t take all these comments to heart. No matter how the Confucians scolded her, as long as she had control of the army and the policymaking, they still had to work for her.
Starting classes, organizing imperial examinations, and selecting talents, just to mention a few of the things they had to do. Long Mixu sent out a series of policies really quickly and helped to shut up the mouths of many of the Confucians.
Compared to the Confucians scolding her, she was more worried about the Royal Family. To handle this, she was merciless and killed all the useless children in the Royal Family.
Everyone in the Royal Family, those who didn’t join her cause, those who did evil things, those who harmed the people, were all killed.
Her series of killings shocked everyone.
No one expected Long Mixu to turn her blade on her family members right after she took the throne.
100,000 Royal Family members were killed. Their houses were searched and possessions confiscated, collecting close to 10 years of Ten Thousand Dragon Empire taxes.
Her actions rendered all the officials and generals speechless.
Since they had committed so many sins and there was enough evidence, all of them were killed!
Long Mixu’s second action was targetted at the officials, their children, and their loved ones.
Those who cheated on their partners, extorted money, participated in corruption, and took bribes, all of them were killed.
With the army under her control, the old ancestors on Dragon Hiding Mountain didn’t dare to interfere. Long Mixu let the army take over Shengjing and she started to give order after order.
All of a sudden, all the officials and generals were terrified. All of them started to draw lines to separate themselves from each other and also to protect themselves.
These two moves cleared out the entire nation and filled up Long Mixu’s coffers. She was able to get a few decades worth of taxes which made all the policies she was planning to lay out feasible.
Her third move was to pardon everyone, releasing all the civilians who were suffering in jails and helping to clear them of misjudged crimes…
After these series of moves, Long Mixu had full control of the Ten Thousand Dragon Empire.
The public opinion of her instantly changed and they started to worship her!
Long Mixu gained the praise of all the officials and generals and her position was solidified.
Of course, some were worried that she would marry other guys and that the kid would take over the throne. If that happened, the Royal Family would change and the Ten Thousand Dragon Empire would not belong to the current Royal Family anymore.
To solve this, she enacted a law that stated that she wouldn’t be allowed to marry while she was in charge. After she gave up the throne, she would choose someone worthy in the Royal Family to take over. Only then was she able to shut all their mouths.
In the dark, Long Mixu hugged her good sister and said comfortably, “With this decree, I don’t have to worry about marriage and can have a good life with you.”
Sister Min was still really shocked. “It’s only been such a short time and you actually became the Empress. That’s quite unbelievable.”
Long Mixu laid in her arms. “I told you that the throne would definitely be mine.”
“Now that you are the Empress, I shall be your shadow.” Sister Min said.
“Okay, I shall hand all my intelligence over to you.” Long Mixu kissed her.
“I will help you stabilize the country.” Sister Min said firmly.

On this side, Long Mixu started to get on the right path, officially taking control of the Ten Thousand Dragon Empire and strengthening it.
On the other side, after the old monk returned to his cave, apart from cultivating, he would study the red watch.
Under the white clouds, surrounded by nature and with a light breeze, the old monk was resting in his rocking chair. He held the red watch in his hand and stared right at it.
“What is so magical about this thing?” The old monk muttered.
He studied it for a period of time and he didn’t notice anything.
The watch wasn’t a treasure at all. He wanted to break it open but he realized that he had to shatter it first.
However, this watch was giving him false hope that shattering it could bring him to a mysterious place where his wishes could be fulfilled.
“My wish is to fly but no one in Ancient Desolate Land can help me fulfill this wish. Do you still want to help me?” The old monk scoffed and didn’t believe that it was possible.
Kacha!
In the next second, he shattered the red watch.
His body slowly disappeared. He looked on in shock. “I prophesied it several times, so there shouldn’t be any danger.”
Before shattering the watch, the old monk sincerely prophesied nine times.
Nine times was all good luck!
There was no danger at all!
This was why he dared to shatter it. But looking at his body slowly disappearing, he started to worry.
“Where are we going?” The old monk was shocked.

When the mist scattered, Li Xiandao saw the third tomb.
Mountain Hermit’s Tomb!
This was an old monk known as Mountain Hermit. Li Xiandao recalled that 30,000 years ago there was a top talent who became a Celestial and entered the Celestial World. After entering, he came back down and said that it wasn’t as perfect as he thought it would be.
This person was Mountain Hermit.
This was his only introduction and everyone thought that he went into seclusion.
There were even many who said that he could still be alive.
After all, a Celestial might have been able to live for 30,000 years.
Li Xiandao didn’t expect that he would be buried here.
When Li Xiandao was about to pray to him, Seven’s voice rang in his ear. “Master, you have a guest.”
Li Xiandao could only stop and say regretfully, “I can only come next time to comprehend your Dao.”
“Great, I will wait for you.” A straightforward laughter that came from the Mountain Hermit’s soul replied to Li Xiandao.
Li Xiandao turned around and when he appeared once more, he was in the Trading Hall.
“What happened to your chest?” Seven pointed and asked.
Li Xiandao’s heart was still dripping and two sword wounds were clear to see.
Li Xiandao replied, “It is okay, I died twice just now.”
Seven tilted her head. Just died twice?
Li Xiandao had suffered enough pain from the two wounds. With a wipe of his hand, the wound healed up.
In the Bank of the Universe, Li Xiandao was invincible. He could get injured but he would definitely not die.
“Who is the guest?” Li Xiandao asked with a weird expression.
“Someone you know!” Seven smiled.
“Again?” Li Xiandao was shocked.
