Qiao Qing nodded and saw that an employee opened a bottle of red wine.
She asked, “You’re drinking?”
Jun Yexuan, “Don’t you want some?”
The employee had poured into the two wine glasses.
Qiao Qing said, “You say I’m a lightweight and refuse to let me drink.”
“It’s okay to drink occasionally. It’s good for the atmosphere. Plus, this is red wine. It’s not strong.”
Jun Yexuan handed her a cup, “In the ancient times, the bride and groom should drink on their wedding day while crossing their arms. We didn’t get to do that before so let’s make up for it. Hmm?”
Qiao Qing was silent. She took over the glass and crossed arms with him.
Jun Yexuan’s lips curled up as he drank the wine.
He watched as the red liquid entered her mouth. There was a faint trace of snarkiness in his eyes.
In the dark, Lang Yin sighed. The young miss married a wolf.
After the wine, Jun Yexuan stopped finding reasons to get Qiao Qing to drink. He pointed to the food, “Hungry? Let’s eat.”
Qiao Qing picked up her utensils and started to eat. She ate for a few seconds before she noticed that the man in front of him hadn’t even picked up his fork. She asked, “Aren’t you eating?”
I want to eat you.
Jun Yexuan thought. However, his expression remained neutral as he picked up his fork, “I’m eating.”
Then there was the sound of utensils clinking against plates.
Time passed by. After around 20 minutes, Qiao Qing revealed no unusual signs.
Jun Yexuan doubted himself. Could it be that he was right? When the alcohol is weak, she wouldn’t get drunk?
By the time Qiao Qing was done, Jun Yexuan’s heart grew cold and hopeless.
Crestfallen, he decided that next time, he’ll need to find a reason to get her to drink spirits.
Just then, the girl across from him rested her chin on her hand and stared at him without blinking.
Jun Yexuan was flustered and waved his hand in front of her, “Qingqing?”
Qiao Qing blinked, “Pork hock!”
Jun Yexuan, “…”
He chuckled and walked around to sit beside her. He crowned over her and engulfed her with his arms, “Pork hock bought you new clothes. Do you want to try them on?”
Qiao Qing’s eyes glistened, “New clothes?”
Jun Yexuan nodded.
Qiao Qing nodded harder, “I want to try!”
As he thought it over, Qiao Qing had escaped his arms and was pulling on his shirt, “Where are my new clothes?”
Jun Yexuan squeezed her hand. He thought this was his only opportunity. She was simply a little slower after drinking. In actuality, she was already 20 and no longer a child. Plus, he was her husband by law and it was normal to do all this with her.
After he found excuses for himself, his lips curled up again and he pulled her to walk with him, “It’s inside.”
The two of them walked into the bedroom. Jun Yexuan sat Qiao Qing down and opened that suitcase. He started to pick his pick.
The drunken girl of course couldn’t just sit still. While he was picking out his favorite from the suitcase, she also came and knelt down. Digging into the suitcase, she asked, “In here?”
She then grabbed onto a red translucent lace piece.
Jun Yexuan’s gaze fell on the lace and his eyes brightened, “This is the one.”
He then closed the suitcase and grabbed Qiao Qing’s hand.
He was about to change her when his cell phone rang.
He took out the phone and saw that it was Quan Zexi calling. His heart skipped a beat but he didn’t dare to not pick up.
The moment he picked up, Qiao Qing let go of his hand and dashed towards the bedroom.
