Jun Yexuan’s heart shook as he listened. He then wiped off the tears on her face, “Qingqing, don’t cry. I was wrong.”
Now that he’s said those words, the tears came endlessly for Qiao Qing.
Flustered, Jun Yexuan tried to wipe the tears off as he spoke with much affection.
“Before, when you cried for Leng Yan, I was insanely jealous. Now that you are crying for me, I feel so much regret. I rather you be happy forever and laugh forever. I don’t want you to cry. It pains me. Stop crying, okay?”
Qiao Qing opened her mouth, “I cried for Leng Yan because he would’ve died if I failed to cure him. If you were the one who was sick, I wouldn’t have cried.”
Jun Yexuan, “…”
He had a look of uncertainty on his face.
His lost expression made Qiao Qing giggle.
“Because if I failed to cure you, I would’ve gone with you.”
