Though Mr. Ruan Ling didn’t try to say anything to defend Qiao Qing, by standing by Qiao Qing’s side, Cheng Suyun’s previous remarks lost all credibility.

Guo Yunxia on the other hand looked grey in the face.
Yi Shiqiong’s lips were now bleeding from her clenching but she didn’t even realize. As she stared at Ruan Ling standing beside Qiao Qing, her jealousy swallowed her whole.
An entrepreneur wearing a suit stepped out, “What caused a UCC professor to lie with her eyes open? Why did she purposely attack someone with talent? And why was she talking up someone who has no achievement?!”
Just then, a loud voice shouted from afar, “I know the answer!”
Everyone looked over and saw a young man rushing in.
He panted, “I was wondering why the lines weren’t moving... I found out what happened after hearing what some of the people outside had to say. I’m also a fourth-year student from UCC. I’m in the same program as Yi Shiqiong.”
He pointed at Cheng Suyun, “It is true that she is a professor, but she’s also Yi Shiqiong’s personal counselor for her graduation project!”
His words left the room in chatters. Yi Shiqiong and Cheng Suyun’s faces changed colors.
Qiao Qing’s fans began to speak out yet again.
“No wonder she took Yi Shiqiong’s side and attacked Feng Ci. As a counselor, she sure is devoted to her job!”
“Exactly. As a professor, she’s willing to twist the truth just to protect her student. Doesn’t she know she’s harming others?”
That entrepreneur from before looked over to Cheng Suyun with disdain, “My company often hires university professors as consultants. I would never hire someone like her. I would never give her the chance!”
“An evildoer who supports someone baselessly! How can a teacher like that bring up anyone good? Those two are the same type of people!”
“I’m grateful I didn’t ask her to educate my kid. She has no professionalism!”
“She must’ve gotten where she is by using unspeakable methods. If UCC professors are like this, then I question UCC’s ranking in this country!”
Upstairs, Qi Yuyang slammed the table, “Beautiful! Against these evil witches, we need to strike back hard!”
Jun Yexuan looked over to Mu Jinghang, “Send the UCC Dean a message. Tell him he needs to take out the trash.”
Mu Jinghang said, “Immediately!”
Cheng Suyun listened to all the discussions and felt everyone’s eyes on her. She cursed silently at Yi Shiqiong and began to regret her life decisions.
She then thought of something and she calmed down, “So what she knows Mr. Ruan Ling? Everyone in the literature circle knows that the organizations an author belongs to and that deems their value.”
“Shiqiong is a member of the City of Willow’s writer’s association. She’s also been invited to join the national association. What is Feng Ci? National writer’s association? Did the City of Brisk even invite her?”
Her words calmed Yi Shiqiong’s down. That was her last attack.
Guo Yunxia also sighed in relief, “Exactly. There’s no way you would question the chairs from that association, would you?”
Just then, the MC stuttered out, “Is that... the director of the national writer’s association?”
Everyone looked over to the entrance and saw a middle-aged man rush in.
