“Can you come to check up on Rick and talk to him?” Xixi asked, sounding heartbroken.
“What’s wrong with Rick?” Huo Mian asked, a little stunned.

Huo Mian immediately understood what Xixi was talking about – Rick had been feeling guilty for Qin Chu’s plane crash and was blaming himself.
It seemed like she had to talk to Rick.
“Xixi, when should I go? Can I go now?”
“But it’s late, can you come? Would you be in danger?” Xixi heard from Rick that Huo Mian was in a sensitive situation these days, so she hesitated.

To avoid drawing attention, they put Huo Mian in a black Audi A6; only then did they let Huo Mian leave the mansion…
30 minutes later, the Audi parked outside Seductive Fox, and the four bodyguards followed Huo Mian all the way up to the top floor.
“Miss Huo…” Rick’s assistant knew her well.
“Where’s Rick.”
“He’s in his office.”
Huo Mian looked down at her watch; it was almost 10 PM, and Rick was still in his office. Looks like he was indeed in a bad mood.
“Where’s Xixi.”
“Xixi’s in there with him.”
“Mhm.” Huo Mian nodded; then, she turned around and said to the bodyguards, “Wait for me here, I need to see a friend.”
“But Miss Huo, the commander said we can’t let you leave our sight,” one of the bodyguards said.
“I’m really fine… I need to talk to him alone, it’s not convenient for me to talk with you guys staring at me. I’ll be fine…”
“Okay then, we’ll be waiting outside.”
Huo Mian nodded. Then, she knocked on Rick’s office door and walked in.
“Huo Mian, why are you here?” Rick was surprised to see Huo Mian.
