"I am glad you know your own place around here," Sister Ling, who is Qian Ge's agent, snorted immediately. "I heard that the director has arranged for you to stay at a bed and breakfast that is located not too far from our four star hotel. The production crew is too mean. Qian Ge's agent had an extremely arrogant attitude.

Vera could no longer stand Sister Ling's attitude and she was about to confront her directly, but Jiang Yuning caught hold of her arm and stopped her immediately.

"Why are you stopping me?"

"Vera, the shooting environment here in China is very different as compared to how it is abroad. You will have to get used to this sooner or later. I am a blacklisted artiste. That is why the many other established and professional actors and actresses here will immediately view me as a thorn in the flesh. After their discussion, the both of them quickly returned to the dressing room. At this time, Qian Ge's makeup and costume were already completed but instead of rushing to the filming location, Qian Ge merely leaned against the back of the chair and rested there as instructed to by her agent.

This clearly proved that she was a bully because as the second female lead of the drama, the makeup artists had to put up with such behavior as they were all naturally afraid to offend her.

Sister Ling sat at a corner of the dressing room as she leaned back with her arms folded across her chest. If the agent could act so arrogantly, it was only because the artiste was allowing it. Qian Ge did not say a word, but all her thoughts were already reflected in Sister Ling's arrogant attitude.

Jiang Yuning acted as though nothing had happened and she headed directly to her seat in front of the mirror. She then started applying her own makeup without saying anything else. This was totally beyond the makeup artists' imagination.

Since Jiang Yuning had already filmed three short videos, she had also learnt and taken note of some of the skills that the makeup artist had used when she had previously applied the makeup for her.

After half an hour passed, Qian Ge finally stood up and left for her shooting location to get ready for her filming scene. The makeup artists only dared to go to Jiang Yuning's side after Qian Ge had already left the dressing room.

"What I have done today is to remind you of the importance of respecting your seniors. After all, this cast is very different compared to the ones that you have previously joined. This kind of things is insurmountable to you. Do you understand?" Sister Ling spoke to Jiang Yuning as she glared at her. "Our Qian Ge can only help you if you know your own place around here."

"I am grateful and so honored," Jiang Yuning replied immediately.

Sister Ling snorted before she turned around and followed Qian Ge out of the dressing room with a satisfied expression on her face.

"Miss Jiang, we are really sorry. We are here to help you apply your makeup now. We can understand how disgusting it is to meet with such unreasonable people sometimes," the makeup artist said angrily. "If she really is so courageous, she should just steal Sister Fan's makeup artists. Why is she trying to show her superiority by bullying you?"

Yao Fan was the actress who would be playing the role of the first female lead. She was a very professional and talented actress who had won the top actress award three times consecutively.

"It is okay," Jiang Yuning replied with a smile on her face.

"You have pretty good makeup skills. Did you learn how to do makeup professionally?" the make artist asked as she heaved a sigh of relief upon realizing that Jiang Yuning was not angry.

"I have learnt a little but my skills are still at an amateur level now."

A short while later, the photographer who was assigned to take the photographs came to the dressing room to rush them due to the schedule that he had to adhere to. At this time, Jiang Yuning's makeup was almost done.

"Fortunately, you have offered to apply makeup for yourself first. Otherwise, we would not have been able to complete your makeup on time because of Qian Ge's delay. If so, we would definitely have gotten scolded," the makeup artist continued complaining.

"I will go over to the photographer to get my pictures taken now," Jiang Yuning replied as she proceeded to get up from her seat.

"She is so beautiful…" the two makeup artists could not help but exclaim after they finished applying Jiang Yuning's makeup for her. They finally understood why Director Shen Guobang wanted Jiang Yuning to play the role of Lin Ping'er. There was no one else who could even compare to Jiang Yuning's features.

At this time, Vera quickly stepped forward to support Jiang Yuning as they walked towards the location where the photographer was waiting for them. Vera leaned closer to Jiang Yuning and then whispered in her ear, "The news that Qian Ge was bullying you in the dressing room has already reached the other production crew members. I heard them talking about it earlier. The rate that news or gossip spreads within a domestic shoot is really incredible."

"They have already assigned specific people to spread any news or information that they see or hear. Therefore, it is not surprising at all that the news has travelled fast," Jiang Yuning replied. "However, I hope that the news would only be spread amongst the production crew and cast. If this news reaches Qian Ge's fans, they would think that I am slandering their precious idol and thus try to fight me."

"They can just come at us then. Who is afraid?"

"It is not time yet," Jiang Yuning replied as she tried to calm Vera down.

This was because she had no one to back her up now.

She needed to at least wait until majority of the crew members were fed up with Qian Ge's attitude…

Later that afternoon, both the first and second female leads were required at the location for the shooting of Mysteries of Heaven. Therefore, both of them were seated together as they waited for their turns.

"I heard that you have already started bullying the younger sister in the crew?" Yao Fan asked as she held a small fan in her hand. She smiled because she continued in a sarcastic tone, "Even as the first female lead, I only needed one makeup artist to apply my makeup for me. I am really amazed to hear that you actually needed four makeup artistes to apply your makeup for you."

"Sister Fan, I believe that this has nothing to do with you, right?" Qian Ge replied as she chuckled. "Don't you know what kind of person the whole country perceives me as?"

"Since you have already taken the initiative to warn the newcomer, then I will also give you a warning right now. I am the first female lead in this drama. I do not care if you want to bully anyone or if you want to steal the limelight. However, I am warning you to control yourself and not to overdo it because your actions might turn around and bite you in the back. Do not be so quick to judge others because you never know what will happen next." After she was done speaking, Yao Fan put down the fan before she stepped out to film her scene.

Qian Ge snorted after Yao Fan left. She was not the one bullying Jiang Yuning anyway.

Moreover, the whole world perceived her as a young, beautiful, and gentle actress. Who would dare to accuse her of bullying the newcomer?

Whatever it was, the feud between Qian Ge and Jiang Yuning had already started.

It was just the first day of the shoot and things were already starting to get exciting.

As Jiang Yuning's only task for the day was to shoot some stills, she could return to the bed and breakfast to rest while waiting for tomorrow's shooting arrangements and schedule to be announced.

The production crew also felt bad for Jiang Yuning because she was the target of Qian Ge's bullying. They felt that she was somewhat pitiful and they therefore stopped making inappropriate comments and showing a bad attitude towards her.

Therefore, as Vera and Jiang Yuning were about to leave, one of the producers handed two separate lunch boxes over to Vera. "I am sorry that your artiste has to suffer like this. You have to know that Qian Ge is innocent because her agent is the mastermind behind this matter."
